Pep is our foundation mare being a medal winner and many times Supreme Champion since she was 3 year old. Pep has produced top quality stock including Birthday Boy, Dion, Delight, Desire and  Dynamite.  Pep has completed the hat-trick  doing something she hasn't done before.  This year, again Pep gave us a filly foal. Full sister to Delight who herself is now a mare.  Our two year old filly Destiny, our yearling filly Dreamer and this years foal is named Devine.  This is the last foal Pep will ever have to Sprig, so this was both a happy and sad event.

Divine is the 5th filly by Sprig and out of Perpetual.  She has not been shown to date.  She is full sister to Desire who is now owned by Lisa Perrott.   Delight, Destiny, Dreamer have been retained as future broodmares and Dynamite as our replacement for his dad.

Sara has been 1st & 2nd at Lampeter and Glanusk as a youngster. Sara has bred quality stock, including Tryfel April who was 2nd twice at the Royal Welsh and Tryfel Arrow who was 5th at the 2003 Royal Welsh. Sara is a half sister to Sprig.  Sara is the mother of our 3 year old  filly Anwen.  Last year Sara had a colt foal by Cascob Silver Ghost who we cut during the winter.  We believe that this gelding will make a future undersaddle pony like his half brother Arrow.  Bridie now shows Arrow undersaddle and made great progress last year and has got off to a good start this year.

Bethan was shown as a 2 year old winning many 1st prize, championships and Bronze medal and also 2nd at the Royal Welsh.  But it is as a broodmare she has gone from strength to strength. Winning both Bronze and Silver medals since becoming a mare. Bethan was 2nd at the Royal Welsh Junior mare class in 2005.  Last year as a barren mare she did us proud.  Bethan was shown lightly last year with 1st and Champion at the Forest of Dean and Supreme Champion at Avon and Border Counties.  She has a colt foal this year by Cascob Red Kite.

Carlos is by Cascob Red Kite and out of Tryfel Bethan.  A great show prospect for the future with movement to die for.

TRYFEL DELIGHT

Delight is now a 5 year old mare and has had a colt foal this year by Cascob Red Kite.  Delight  had been shown in youngstock classes with great success including 3rd at the Royal Welsh and we hope that this success will continue into her showing years as a mare.

TRYFEL DION

Dion had a great show record in youngstock classes winning a Bronze medal every year shown and winning the Royal Welsh as a 2 year old.  Since then she has gone from strength to strength in the mare classes.  Dion was only shown twice in 2006.  Being 1st and Champion and Bronze medal winner at Area 29 NPS show and reserve Welsh Champion.  Dion also qualifying for the Rhydspence in Shrewsbury.  At Shrewsbury she was Reserve Champion in the Rhydspence Qualifier class.  Dion has a colt foal this year to Cascob Red Kite.

Triumph is out of Dion who was 2nd at the Rhydespence championship in 2006.  Dion also won the Royal Welsh as a 2 year old and we hope this  colt will follow in both mother and father's footsteps and become a supreme champion.

CWMFFRWYD HOLLY

Bought in during the 2003 by Michael as his show mare.  Holly had never been shown until Michael purchased her.  Her show record includes winning a bronze medal at Llaneddi show 2004.  She was also shown in 2005 winning the Bath and West, Gwent Area and Tredegar.  Holly has not been shown since.  Instead she has bred two filly foals, Seren Nos and this year Surreal.

MONARAY MAY QUEEN

Queen was given to Michael for his birthday by Veronica Layton of the Caebryn Stud.  Queen is our only Section C so far but hopefully the start of a beautiful relationship.  She has been shown both by Chris and by Michael and is a first class genuine mare. Queen had a great show season winning both a Bronze and Silver medal.  She was 1st and Reserve Champion at Area 29 NPS show, Bedwelty and Monmouth.  She was 1st and Champion at Bridgend and Pontadulais.  Queen won two Supreme Championships, Gelligaer and Cwm.  Queen was also 2nd at the Royal Welsh in 2006.  This was for the 2nd time as she was also 2nd at the Royal Welsh in 2003 with her foal Caebryn Feather winning 1st prize.

Tryfel Prince Charming is the first Section C bred by Michael.  This lovely colt foal has a head and eye to die for and movement to match. Photo taken at a week old.  Prince is out of a Supreme Champion mare, who has already produced a Royal Welsh winner and by Poundy Druid one of the top sires in the Section C sire rating scheme.
