Pep is our foundation mare being a medal winner and many times Supreme Champion since she was 3 year old. Pep has produced top quality stock including Birthday Boy, Dion, Delight, Desire,  Dynamite, Destiny, Dreamer & Divine.  Pep was left empty last year, due to her age but she has had a filly foal by Havorford Walk in the Clouds (Kev)., Tryfel Diva.   Pep is in foal for next year to Dukeshill Magnum.

Sara has been 1st & 2nd at Lampeter and Glanusk as a youngster. Sara has bred quality stock, including Tryfel April who was 2nd twice at the Royal Welsh and Tryfel Arrow who was 5th at the 2003 Royal Welsh. Sara is a half sister to Sprig.  Sara is the mother of  Anwen who herself is now a mare. Sara is the mother of Bridie's gelding Arrow who has won a performance medal every year under saddle. 

On the 26th May this year we had Sara put to sleep after a short illness.  She was a honest, true and loving mare and will be sadly missed by us all.

 


 

TRYFEL BETHAN

Bethan was shown lightly this year as a Barren mare.  Bethan was Champion and Bronze medal winner at Sennybridge Show and Reserve Supreme Champion and Silver medal winner at Aberystwyth show.  Bethan also did us proud at the Royal Welsh with begin 2nd in 2008 for the 3rd time and 3rd this year.

Bethan is the mother of  Tryfel Classy-lady champion foal Royal Welsh 2008. 

 


TRYFEL DELIGHT

Delight is now a 7 year old mare and had a filly foal last year by Winneydean Gwyn Emrys.  She was shown during 2008 being in the ribbons every time.  Delight had a colt foal this year by Havorford Walk in the Clouds and has gone to live in Hereford to become an undersaddle pony for the future.

Anwen was shown as a three year old but has been left to make a mare.  5 year old this year and expecting her first foal by Dynamite.


 

TRYFEL DION

Dion was lightly shown lat year winning champion and Silver Medal at Blaenavon Pony Improvement Society summer show and champion and Bronze medal winner at Bicton arena.  Dion won a Bronze medal this year at Avon show and was also Reserve Welsh Champion.   Dion had a filly foal last year Tryfel Talent  who was 1st Blaenavon, 1st and Champion foal Bicton.  Good luck to Janine Pickett for buying Talent.

Dion had a filly foal this year to Dynamite called Tia, also bought by Janine Pickett.  GOOD LUCK with both fillies.


CWMFFRWYD HOLLY

Bought in during the 2003 by Michael as his show mare.  Holly had never been shown until Michael purchased her.  Her show record includes winning a bronze medal at Llaneddi show 2004.  She was also shown in 2005 winning the Bath and West, Gwent Area and Tredegar.  Holly has not been shown since.  Instead she has bred two filly foals, Seren Nos and  Surreal and 2008 a colt foal Mitey-roo.  

Holly had a filly foal this year to Dynamite and both Holly and her foal now live with Janine Pickett.   GOOD LUCK to you all.



 

MONARAY MAY QUEEN

Queen was given to Michael for his birthday by Veronica Layton of the Caebryn Stud.  Queen is our only Section C so far but hopefully the start of a beautiful relationship.  She has been shown both by Chris and by Michael and is a first class genuine mare. Queen had a great show season during 2008 winning both a Bronze and Silver medals.  She was 1st and Reserve Champion at Area 29 NPS show, Bedwelty and Monmouth.  She was 1st and Champion at Bridgend and Pontadulais.  Queen won two Supreme Championships, Gelligaer and Cwm.  Queen was also 2nd at the Royal Welsh in 2006.  This was for the 2nd time as she was also 2nd at the Royal Welsh in 2003 with her foal Caebryn Feather winning 1st prize.  Queen had a lovely colt foal in 2008 Tryfel Prince of Thieves he was sold at the Cob sale and good luck to his new owner Stacey Hastings.

Queen was shown as a barren mare this year and had another good show record being Supreme Champion Avon, Reserve Section C Champion Northleach and Champion and bronze medal winner Devon Counties.


 

PARVADEAN DENISE

Denise has now returned to Mrs. Layton to become a mare.  She has her first foal.  A colt called Caebryn Endeavour who has been retained for showing next year.  The last time Denise was shown was  2007 when she had a great season for both Denise and for her owner Veronica Layton.  Denise started off with being Youngstock Champion and Reserve Sec. C at Lampeter, Youngstock Champion, Sec. C. Champion and overall Welsh Champion Bicton, Youngstock Champion,  Reserve Overall Female Champion and Reserve Section C Champion Royal Welsh. Denise was also Champion Sec. C at Bedwelty and Monmouth.

 




We have a selection of homebred stock for sale each year of all ages.
